BOYCOTT BP!

Four things to do:

1. Sign the Boycott (for Illinois, Indiana, or Michigan)

2. Sign the Environment Illinois Petition.

3. Forward this message.

4. Do your best to make a permanant and drastic reduction in your personal use of gasoline.

  • get a bicycle or get yours fixed
  • get a basket on your bike so you can go to the grocery store
  • plan ahead so you don't waste trips if can't avoid using a car
  • use public transportation
  • consider the huge benefits of finding a job in your neighborhood. no commute. family time. etc.
  • charge yourself a tax for every gallon of gas you use and donate it to environmental causes
  • take a local vacation. Flying or driving across the country is killing the planet.
  • Walk anywhere that you can. We all need excercise, right?
  • Reduce consumption, buy local produce to reduce shipping fuel wastage.
